🌱 2. Materials, Techniques & Preparation
In this session, you’ll get hands-on with every material used to create a stable, healthy Kokedama. You’ll learn:
How to choose the right plant
How to prepare and bind the soil mixture
Working with premium moss
Techniques for securing, tying and shaping the moss ball
How to finish the piece aesthetically and structurally
Each step is demonstrated clearly so you understand why each material is used and how to achieve a balanced, long-lasting Kokedama.

Using the techniques you’ve learned, you’ll craft your own Kokedama with full guidance from Anita from Moss Magic, known for her beautiful work and approachable teaching style.
