Tickets Explained:
VIP Tickets: (400 Tickets):
The VIP ticket offers exclusive early access to the Plant Expo. With this ticket, you can enter the venue one hour before the event opens to the general public at 10:00 AM (entry at 09:00 AM), allowing you to shop and explore in a more relaxed environment ahead of the crowds. VIP ticket holders join a limited group of 400 individuals enjoying this privilege. In addition, all VIP attendees will receive a goodie bag provided by the vendors and Rays Retail Nursery as a token of appreciation. This ticket is designed to deliver a personalized and enjoyable experience for plant enthusiasts looking to make the most of their time at the expo.
PHASE 1 Tickets (600 tickets): Phase 1 Tickets are available at a reduced entry fee. Once VIP ticket holders have been admitted, both Phase 1 and Phase 2 ticket holders will gain entry together at 10:00 AM. While you may experience a brief wait in line due to safety and crowd management measures, enhancements have been implemented to minimize delays. With Phase 1 Tickets, you secure your spot at a cost-effective rate and enjoy the same great event experience as Phase 2 attendees.
PHASE 2 Tickets: Phase 2 Tickets provide standard admission to the Plant Expo, allowing entry to the event at 10:00 AM alongside Phase 1 ticket holders. Unlike VIP tickets, Phase 2 entry does not include early access or additional benefits. Phase 1 and Phase 2 ticket holders will queue together for entry, and while there may be a short wait upon arrival, measures have been implemented to significantly reduce wait times and improve the overall entry process. Phase 2 Tickets offer a straightforward way to enjoy all the features of the event without extras.

Although there might be a short wait in line upon arrival, measures have been implemented to significantly reduce wait times and improve the overall entry process. Phase 2 Tickets offer a straightforward way to enjoy all the features of the event without additional perks.
How do On the Day Tickets work?
On the Day Tickets are sold at the gate for R170 each and grant standard admission from 12 PM, after VIP (9 AM) and General Admission (10 AM) ticket holders. Tickets are very limited, so we recommend purchasing a Stage 2 ticket before the event. We accept card payments only, and while you may experience a wait to enter, a dedicated entry area will be available for On the Day guests. On the Day Tickets grant you full access to all expo features—just without the early‑entry perks.
What is the difference between Phase 1 and Phase 2 Tickets?
Both Phase 1 and Phase 2 Tickets grant entry to the Plant Expo at 10:00 AM after VIP guests have been admitted, and both offer the same event experience once inside. The primary differences are in pricing and booking timing:
