Description Hoya Carnosa Tricolor
Habit Trailing or climbing vine with thick, waxy leaves produced along long stems. Can be left to trail or trained around a hoop or trellis.
Growth Rate Moderate.
Placement Best suited to shelves, hanging pots or climbing displays. Works well where the vines have room to trail or wrap around a support.
Leaf Size Small to medium, thick and waxy leaves.
Light Bright indirect light is ideal. Some gentle morning or late-afternoon sun can help encourage stronger growth and flowering.
Water Allow the soil to dry well between waterings. Hoyas store moisture in their leaves and cope better with being slightly dry than staying constantly wet.

Feeding Light to moderate feeder. Feed during active growth and while flowering. Grab some Novion before checkout.
Humidity Average household humidity is generally sufficient.
Sensitivities Sensitive to overwatering. Avoid cutting off old flower spurs, as Hoyas can rebloom from the same point.
Pet Safe Generally considered non-toxic to cats and dogs.
Rays Says "Hoyas like to dry out properly between waterings. Give them good light and leave the old flower spurs alone once they’ve bloomed, because that’s often where the next flowers come from."
