Lightweight expanded clay aggregate made from porous clay balls that provide excellent drainage, airflow and structure.
LECA is extremely versatile and can be used as a drainage layer, mixed into growing media, used in semi-hydroponic setups, or added to terrariums and other planted displays.
 
Available in a range of sizes and grades, from small to large.
 
Which size should I choose?
Small LECA
Best for smaller terrariums, propagation setups, mixing into finer growing media and smaller semi-hydro pots. The smaller pieces fill gaps more evenly and work well around finer root systems.
Medium LECA
The best all-rounder. Great for terrarium drainage layers, semi-hydro growing, mixing into aroid mixes and general drainage applications.
Large LECA
Best for larger pots, deeper drainage layers and chunkier growing mixes. The larger pieces create more open spaces and are useful where extra airflow and structure are needed.
