Whether you're new to terrariums or simply looking for a fun, creative activity, our DIY Terrarium Kit includes everything you need to build your own beautiful indoor terrarium from the comfort of your home.
 
Each kit is carefully put together with a selection of plants, mosses, decorative stones, hardscape and our specially blended Rays Terrarium Soil, giving you the freedom to create a little landscape that's uniquely yours.
 
🌱 Everything You Need to Get Started
Your kit includes a glass terrarium, one featured plant and an additional plant that can be used for cuttings, filling gaps or adding extra greenery to your design.
You'll also receive a mixed moss bundle, drainage materials, decorative hardscape, a small spray bottle, terrarium tweezers and a simple step-by-step building and care guide.
 
Our Rays Terrarium Soil already contains biochar, so there's no need to purchase or add activated charcoal separately.
 
Simply follow the guide, build your layers, arrange your plants and get creative!

Have a particular colour scheme in mind? Prefer darker stones, natural wood, lighter rocks or something a little more colourful?
 
Let us know your preferences when placing your order, and we'll do our best to put together a kit that suits your vision.
 
We can work around the colours of your plants, your decorative stones or a combination of both. With plenty of different materials available, there's lots of room to get creative!

🌿 A Little Help from Nature
We also aim to include beneficial springtails with our DIY Terrarium Kits.
These tiny organisms help break down decaying organic matter and can assist with managing mould as your new terrarium settles into its environment.
Springtails are a natural addition to many planted terrariums and help support a healthier miniature ecosystem.
 
Springtail inclusion is subject to availability and preparation requirements.

You can add Terrarium Putty to your order to help secure stones, wood and other hardscape elements in place.

We believe in giving you more than just enough! Your DIY Terrarium Kit will include extra soil, moss and decorative materials, so you won't necessarily use everything in your first build.
 
Any leftover materials can be saved and used to create another little terrarium of your own. Simply add your own glassware and plants, and let your creativity continue!
The amount of leftover material will depend on how you choose to build your terrarium.
